About this talk
Filling holes in a model has long been a challenging task, especially if the fill needs to look smooth and join the edges with continuity. While Patch has been around for a long time, its results were not good enough in most cases. With a full rewrite of Patch coming to the next version of Rhino, filling holes has become much easier, with smooth results up to curvature continuity. This presentation will go into details on the method that is used to create these patches, and how the various settings affect the end result.
