Jan Hagenström is a Computational Design specialist at Volkswagen Design, working at the intersection of automotive design, parametric modeling, and custom software development. With a degree in architecture and experience using Grasshopper in the automotive industry since 2015, he combines spatial design thinking with a practical approach to digital tool development.

His work focuses on developing Grasshopper-based workflows, tools, and plugins that support geometry generation, process automation, and scalable design methods. Since 2019, Jan has played an active role in establishing and expanding the Grasshopper activities at Volkswagen Group.
