Nora Kislat has been part of Volkswagen Group since 2006. Starting with a vocational apprenticeship and later completing a degree in Product Design, she began her career as a Clay Modeler, shaping vehicle concepts by hand before moving into the world of computational design.

Fascinated by the possibilities of parametric thinking, Nora gradually transitioned from physical modeling to digital design processes. Since 2018, she has been working exclusively with Grasshopper, developing generative workflows and design systems for automotive applications.

Today, her work focuses on bridging generative design and industrial manufacturing. Within Volkswagen's Grasshopper team, she is currently exploring OneShot manufacturing strategies that enable the realization of multiple surface qualities and visual effects in serial production components while maintaining a streamlined single-step process.

Her work combines parametric methodologies, design intent, and production requirements to create efficient and scalable solutions for industrial applications. Drawing from experience in both traditional design craftsmanship and advanced computational methods, she brings a unique perspective on the evolution of design processes within the automotive industry.
